My kids and I took a break from homeschooling and ran some errands. While out and about, we decided to get an impromptu doughnut. It was one of those moments that were unexpected, yet wonderful. It was a break away from an ordinary Wednesday and a moment to just sweeten up our day. It is easy to be caught up in all of life’s expectations; though, sometimes we just need to get caught up in the quality time together. Life will keep us in a constant state of busyness, if we let it. Though responsibility is important, it is okay, to break away sometimes and just enjoy life. Maybe you can do something big or maybe it is stopping, laughing and grabbing a doughnut. Life is a blessing my friend. It is okay to enjoy it responsibly with loved ones. For a heart that takes the time, to make the time, to cherish the time with loved ones; finds time well spent and life more meaningful.

Ecclesiastes 5:18 NIV
This is what I have observed to be good: that it is appropriate for a person to eat, to drink and to find satisfaction in their toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given them-for this is their lot.
