So much settling in my heart

Things I hope for on my mind

So many prayers in waiting

As I wait on God’s time

Trusting in His promises

Trusting in His plans

That He will do what’s best

I place my hope in His hands

I do not have the answers

I do not always know what is best

So I steady my antsy heart

As it beats inside my chest

For He is working all things out for me

And He has my best interest in mind

I must just trust,

in the working of His time
