I see you
Growing weary, patience thinned
Hope in this world growing dim
I see you
With your tear-streaked face
Trying to navigate this worldly place
I see you
Tired, taking another sip
Fully caffeinated to be fully equipped
I see you
Scurrying around to your next mission
I see you
Longing for what you’re missing
I see you
Reaching out
I see you
Searching in a world of doubt
I see you
Another day, you’re all in
I see you
Starting from scratch to begin again
I see you
Giving it everything you’ve got
I see you
Please don’t think that I do not
I see your hope through your struggle
I see your strength, despite your pain
I see it all time and time again
Despite your hope that can be found
Knowing that your heaven bound
All that I ask is did you see
Did you look up and notice me?
