I always love to see young people get excited about God! As I write this, my oldest son is jamming out to his favorite Christian songs. This is music to my ears, more than the song itself! Recently after my youngest was under the weather and started feeling better; he had prayed, thanking God for making him feel better. This made my heart happy, that he knows that God is the great healer. There is something so precious and genuine when the young praise and thank God. Children are our future and I want to know in this crazy, ever changing sinful world; that my children will love God as they grow. That they will walk in His way, put their hope and trust in Him. That in doing so, they will also be a light even as men, in this broken world. Friend, may we encourage our children’s faith. May we give them the resources they need to help them grow in their love and knowledge of God. Despite my mistakes as a parent, I make at times; as no one is perfect, if I know that I helped them nurture their faith, my heart will feel like I have not failed them. For teaching our children about God and His love, is the most precious gift, that we can gift them. I hear my son singing along to his songs of praise, as my other son praises God for his health in gratitude. My heart feels full, in the knowledge of knowing, that these boys of mine have a great love for their Savior. I smile in the peace of that.
