What is faith, if we do not care how we live

What is hope, if we do not have it to give

What is love, if it is never shared

If we have not these, then we are ill-prepared

For all that God has in store over our lives

All that He has given and what His son sacrificed

What is faith, when we choose to live by it

Living for God, and goodness not to quit

What is hope, when it makes our hearts renewed

Bringing joy to our future, is what can ensue

What is love, when so freely given

But the best thing of all, in this life were living

How wonderful it is; when we have faith, hope and love

For it is in these things, we know we are so thought of

By God himself, that in these He does provide
