I walked through the forest, with the trees standing tall
As their leaves full of color, for it was fall
Green leaves, orange leaves, red leaves, even purple to be found
Some graced the trees, while others graced the ground
Little critters crawled on the wooded stump nearby
As the sun peeked through the trees, as if to say Hi
All was quiet, as the world almost felt still
But the footsteps of each other, as we climbed up a hill
I got out my camera, to capture all that I see
Though it could never reveal, all of His Majesty
The beauty, was just not quite right
For a picture cannot fully capture, such a sight
So I took the picture also, inside of my mind
Of how beautiful a world, we can find
When we walk out in nature, and truly take a look
To see the wonder of His works, more pretty, than a picture in a book
As I walked on, through the forest, created by His hands
I thought what a gift, given to woman and a man
For this beauty here, must just a glimpse provide
What Heaven is like, as seen from inside
Walk through the forest, you can see His love expressed
How beautiful His works, with His beauty we are blessed

Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
