Decisions

Do you ever have a decision to make, one that is big or life changing; and you just want God to come sit beside you and tell you what you are supposed to do? I have been there at times in my life, and I just had to fall into the Bible, fall into prayer, seek wisdom and go with whatever decision gave me peace. I know when I stopped working to become a full time stay at home mom and wife; that was a big decision. Though I felt God put it on my heart and after careful planning and talking it out with my husband; we were at peace with our decision for me to stop working.  I was a little nervous of course, but I still had peace. Fast forward almost two years later and I am so grateful that we made the decision we made. Since staying home and not working; I have been able really be the mom, wife and woman that I have yearned to be. I have been able to practice my faith more, spend more time with my favorite people, homeschool my children, dote on my husband more and pursue my writing for God’s glory, act in local Christian plays, and help out family. Friend, if you have any big important decisions to make; go to God. Read His word, stay in prayer, seek out wisdom and go for what truly brings you peace. Life is full of decisions, big and small; make God the forefront of your decision and watch all that He has planned over your life. For decisions made with God, are ones that bring forth the right decisions.
