Love one another

My youngest was stuck on a math problem at home; one that I could not help him with. Though I have my own skill set, anything beyond basic math, I am not very good at. My oldest son went to his brother and helped him solve the problem. Though my children do fight at times, as siblings typically do; I was grateful that my oldest looks out for his little brother.  I have watched my oldest many times quietly and sometimes not so quietly look out for his younger brother. In turn, my youngest son has also looked out for his brother in his own ways too. I am so grateful that they both have each other. Both my children have different personalities on many regards, though through it, they both find ways to bond at times. Though there are little spats and disagreements at times between them; I know that there is always a love there. I am grateful for that sometimes wild, occasionally rowdy and genuine brotherly love that they have. Friend, that got me thinking; we are called to love all our brothers and sisters. We are called to love each other! Though sometimes it is hard to love one another in our differences at times. Maybe it is because we have different personalities or ideas. Though through all the differences, we must keep the love for each other. Though we may disagree with one another at times, we must remember the love God has for us. We must remember to hang onto that love and to also share it with one another. How great it is to choose peace over holding a grudge, friendship in place of division, and choosing love over animosity.  For a heart that chooses love, despite the differences; finds more love to be shared; just as God intended.
