
I am not a Biblical scholar and I do not pretend to be. I am just a woman whom loves the Lord and does her best to follow Him. I have made my share of mistakes, though I have repented. God forgave me, long before I fully forgave myself. I still make mistakes and though I try not to, I am certain I will make more. Though hopefully less and less as I grow in my walk with God. For we are not perfect, though we are perfectly loved by God and forgiven through what Jesus did on that cross. We should strive however, to live as instructed. When we make mistakes, we must admit them and learn from them. Not dwell, but move forward in humility to serve our God. Friend, I may not know your mistakes, but God does. When you make mistakes, go to God and ask for forgiveness. Then know that you are forgiven. Then learn from the mistakes; and when you know better, do better, be better. The enemy has a way of taking those that are humbly trying to be better and throwing their past back at them. Things that have already been forgiven by God. For doing so hinders us from fully forgiving ourselves and fully becoming the people that God has called us to be. His purpose over our lives. So, friend come as you are to God. Ask for forgiveness, then forgive yourself too. Use those mistakes as lessons. Allow God to work in you and through you. You do not need to be a Biblical scholar for God to use you. You do not need to be rich. You do not need to have a fancy degree or a perfect past. You just need to love God and walk with Him always. For a heart that is led by God; finds peace, hope and purpose. How great is to be loved by God, just as we are.
