Work hard

Have you ever had a morning where you just wanted to stay in bed and rest longer? I had one of those days yesterday. I woke up and I had a list of things to do. I wanted to put it all off and go back to sleep. Though I knew, there were some things that truly needed to be done. So, I rolled out of bed and I got ready for the day. I started with my first thing on my list. I continued to check things off. I even added a few extra things too. When I got to a point where I could rest; I was grateful for everything accomplished. I knew that God was with me on all of my endeavors; helping me accomplish my goals. I also knew that having my responsibilities was a blessing from God. Friend, sometimes responsibilities can seem daunting and overwhelming. There are times where we would rather crawl back in bed and do nothing. Though there is a time for such rest. I have found that when I get up and I work hard, God will provide what I need to complete my tasks; just like He will you. Working hard is also a way we can serve God. Friend, we must remember when we are tempted to be slothful; to get up and give it our all. For God will help us, but we must not give into idleness. When I remember how blessed that I am to be given such responsibilities over my blessings by God, I am further encouraged to work hard in all that I do.
