I signed up to bring a breakfast casserole dish, to a school function. That’s just say, my casserole managed to be more like soup and we have leftovers in the fridge. I had gotten up early to prepare and everything seemed planned out to come together, just right. Until an ingredient mishap, changed what I had intended… I found myself short on time and having to make the most with what I had available. Though it was not a favorite, by any means at the school breakfast; it did not taste bad and I know that I tried. Not to mention I think my biggest fan of my cooking, my husband, will gladly enjoy the leftovers. Sometimes friend, things may not go as planned and we just have to do our best. It is okay, to not always make the perfect dish or have whatever you have planned for, go perfect. Whether it is something big or small. In life sometimes we just make the most of what we have and hope for the best. When it is not perfect though, is it always nice to have someone still appreciating our efforts. Friend on our good days, bad days or somewhere in between days; God is with us, always. He knows that we are not perfect, but He also knows our hearts and our intentions. It is okay to mess up sometimes friends, God is in our corner cheering us on. He is with us and encouraging us to continue to do our best anyway.
