Cared for

I was laid up with a nasty headache the other day. My husband took great care of me. Though he was not the only one who did. My youngest offered his caring heart. He took my hands in his small hands and prayed that God would take my headache away, gave me a big hug and offered ways in which he can help. My oldest has also helped me with things I needed help with too. I feel so blessed to have such a caring family. Though it is not always easy for me to ask for help. I can sometimes be prideful or self- reliant. Though I am getting better about asking for help. There are times where I really do not have a choice. It is in these humbling moments of needing help though, that I can see my family’s caring hearts shine through. Just as God intended, by their acts of love. Friend, we are all human and sometimes we need help. Whether physical, emotional, mental, spiritual or just help with something basic. It is okay to ask for help. This world is not always easy and that is why it is so important that we show love to one another. That we lift each other up, offer a helping hand, pray for each other. Friend, we are all human and we all need help sometimes. Just like I am sure you would be there for others, allow others to be there for you too. The answer to your prayer in your time of need, might just come from the people God placed in your life. Allow them to help and when they’re in need, be their helper too. For with a helping hand, our burdens are lighter, when we carry the load together.
