Protect their minds

My family and I often struggle to watch movies together. Not just for the sake of all agreeing on one movie either. It has become difficult to find a movie with good moral content. Many children’s movies now are teaching about themes with agendas, bad or questionable languages or things that go against our beliefs. I find myself reading Christian reviews, as not to find myself regretting having exposed my children to something half way through the movie. Although I know there has always been a need for watching the content of what children watch; it seems as though now more than ever. My children have gotten to the point on their own, where even they pay attention to whether they should watch something or not. The world in which we live my friends, is a world that is getting more corrupt. With the use of all the accessible technology around us, it is an easy avenue to corrupt young minds. Yes, this goes even beyond movies too. Friend, though it is frustratingly stressful trying to find an appropriate family movie with value that everyone likes, it is so important. For what we feed into our children’s mind does have an impact. Like how we behave and how others do around them, what they watch has an impact too. It is hard sometimes having to monitor so much, but I promise it is worth it. Friend, may we keep on protecting our children’s minds, by what we feed them. For it is not ever in vain. Young minds are impressionable, may we leave a good impression.
