This world is not my home
I’m just a stranger passing through
Until the trumpet sounds
I’ll be traveling here with you
Every day is survival
As I navigate this place
Learning more about the King
Until I see His face
I will wait patiently
As I take my blessings in
Appreciating the good
Through a world plagued by sin
For I too have been affected
By this world’s affliction
Though finding my peace in Him
His hope I give submission
As I travel this place
I will do and be my best
Knowing that I truly am
Eternally loved and blessed
Though I am a stranger here
For sin I too am known
Though I know I am forgiven
Through His love, that has been shown
For we are all but traveler’s
This life a temporary place
To get our hearts aligned right
For He’s our saving grace
Will you join me friend
As we take the path toward Him
Knowing that with God
This world is not the end
For we are but his children
Here, just passing through
Until He calls us home
I will be waiting here, like you
Enjoying my blessings
With gratitude each day
Walking with Him
As I navigate, learn and pray
For we are all but traveler’s
With the choice of our destination
To decide if we love the world
Or to accept the Kings salvation
As we travel along here
Our journey will come to an end
Where do you want to be
When that time comes my friend
This world is not my eternal home
It does not have to be yours too
You have a choice my friend
What will you choose to do
For someday that trumpet will sound
I want to go to His castle up above
Though until that happens
Here, I am guided with His love

Philippians 3:20 NIV
But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,
Hebrews 13:14-16 NIV
For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come. Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
