Friend, have you ever had an active day outside and found yourself incredibly thirsty? Then, when you are given something to quench your thirst, you gulp it down and pure joy seems to come upon you. Your thirst is quenched, your body cools and begins to relax and your strength gets renewed. Life is like that at times. It keeps us active, thirsting for the joy of rest and rejuvenation. Only instead of the water of this world, we are thirsting for the living water, God. For in Him, we can find everything we need to quench our soul’s thirst for our hearts and minds. Friend, if life has made you feel run down and weary; call out to the one who can bring you true joy for your heart, renewing for your mind, and peace for your soul.
