The dance of life

365 days, 52 weeks, 8,760 hours; 1 year. What may feel longer in some moments, in truth is fleeting. Life is shorter than we realize in the grand scheme of it all. When we’re young, thirty seems old and then, suddenly we are thirty and ‘old’, looks much older. Time is a fleeting dance. We can make it beautiful and enjoy all the steps; or, we can rush the process and miss the dance. Friend, life is a precious commodity. Even through all the steps, the ones that hurt, the ones that flow and the ones that makes us feel like we are flying. Friend, take the time, to enjoy the dance. Especially, enjoy it with others and most importantly, God. These are the best ways to enjoy the dance. For someday our bodies will tire and our dance will be over. God has given us this grand stage of life to make it the most beautiful that we can. His word, like the grandest choreography on how to make it beautiful. May we read the steps and really live it out. 1 year, turns into more, if we are so fortunate. Everyday, of every year, that’s make our dance count. Until the day we dance for joy in Heaven, may we live with His joy, His song here on earth. Soaking it all in and enjoying the dance, that is life.

Psalm 39:4-5 NIV

“Show me, LORD, my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is. You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Everyone is but a breath, even those who seem secure.

Psalm 149:3 NIV

Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp.
