We were headed to pick my nephew up to hang out. As we looked around, we could tell that the way home from his house would be quite busy and chaotic. Traffic was bumper to bumper. I knew that if I took my usual way home, it would take much longer, create more stress and potentially be more dangerous. I knew that I must look for an alternate route. Friend, sometimes in life we look around us and we can tell that our usual path is just going to trip us up. It is best to pray and then allow God to steer us to an alternate route. One that will take us to our ultimate destination timely, one that gives us peace, one where stress is less and we can find safety much easier. Friend, if we look ahead and do not like the path in which we are on in life; God is waiting to give us His alternate path. The right path, to bring us on the path that we should be on. If things seem messy up ahead friend, hang onto God. He is the ultimate navigator, always ready to give us an alternate path to our eternal destination.
