When patience is tested and anger sets in

Its easy to fall victim, to the pressure of sin

Negativity surrounds like a darkened cloud

As things get said to be heard out loud

A negative thought, can lead to another

As emotions roll on, like the sound of thunder

Being kind can be hard, when bitter does abound

When what’s left is confusion, lost in the sound

When patience is tested, is it love that we hide

Do we handle with vengeance, or do we let go of pride

When patience is tested, but love given

Remembering we too, need to be forgiven

Positive difference, may we be the change

Situation rearranged

A positive thought, can lead to another

Sending love, to help us weather

Being kind, having compassion to abound

Will leave love to be easily found

Do we handle with vengeance, how do we react

Do we give in to sin, or have love counteract

Impatience with anger, is everyone’s demise

Nobody wins, when seen with sins eyes

Patience with love can give a new start

Can offer solutions, to a hurting heart

When given the choice when patience is the need

May love be what supersedes

For sometimes the hardest thing to give

Is what is needed most, a heart to forgive
