My children and I were at an antique store. We glanced around us at all the neat things from the past. My youngest commented on how some things seemed too expensive. We came across a really old toy and he was puzzled on how such an old thing could be so pricey. As it was something that served little interest to him. I then explained to him why it was special. He then understood and could see it like a piece of history and agreed that the price was fair. Friend, we do that as humans sometimes too. We see some people and almost immediately place value on them as we see fit. Not realizing their worth. Forgetting that we are all so worthy that Jesus himself died for us, all of us. Friend, may we see deeper when looking at each other. See worth, through the lens of love. For we are all but like special artifacts in tomorrow’s history. May we place value in each other now and always. For though an antique store relic may have several different price tags; we as humans, are in God’s eyes like priceless treasures. May we treat one another as such.

Isaiah 43:4 NIV
Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life.
