Circumstances should not determine your future. You are not your circumstance. You are not others choices. You are not your past mistakes. You are who God calls you to be; all you must do is follow where He leads. Life is a series of choices. Some we make, some others make and we are affected. Though we cannot control everything, we are given a choice on how we handle what comes our way. When we go about it on our own, little good comes out of it. When we choose to tackle circumstances with God, it is in that choice, that good can be found in whatever we endure. For life with God can allow us to see the good in the hard. When left to our own demise, it is easy to be lost in the occurrence. Choosing to go about life on our own, is like choosing to be lost in the currents. Choosing God however, is like being in the safety of a lifeguard. Friend, what do you choose in your hard? To be overthrown by your circumstances or to find refuge in our Father? Life is a series of hardships and opportunities. We can choose to be sucked into the chaos around us or to grow amidst the hard that sometimes surrounds our lives. I would rather choose God, knowing that He is in control and grow from whatever life is teaching me, then be overcome by what I cannot control and learn nothing but defeat. Choose God my friend, you will not be disappointed!
