So today is world chocolate day. Did you know that such a day existed?! Me neither. Though any excuse to eat the wonderful sweetness of chocolate is just fine in my book. Chocolate has a way of not just making our taste buds happy, but making us feel happier too. Something about the sweet goodness of its flavor, that brings forth such joy. Of course, God is far more superior than chocolate, it got me thinking about how God’s love brings forth such joy. Although chocolate needs to be eaten in moderation, the goodness of God’s love is something we can enjoy at all times. For He is sweetness to our souls and can bring forth such happiness, when we keep Him as a huge part of our lives. Friend, just like we often go to chocolate to bring us comfort, as a special gift to ourselves or others or to simply treat ourselves; may we always celebrate God’s love, by living our life with Him and for Him! For He is the greatest comforter, His love is the most special gift, and it is so important that we always treat ourselves to His word and His love. For like chocolate is sweet to our taste buds, God is even sweeter to our souls. I hope you go get some wonderfully rich chocolate today my friend and in doing so; think about the richness of His love.
