Watch our music

I love my children’s music choice. I do not worry about the songs that they choose to listen to. I hear their Christian music playing as they find comfort in not just the melodies, but the words. Friend, no one, especially children, should be listening to music that goes against God. Though some mainstream music is okay; I have witnessed many listening and singing along to things that corrupt their minds. Between bad language, immoral, risqué, and unloving words. This is often normalized and it should not be. Friend, whether or not we realize it, it does matter. Those words seep into our mind and our thoughts. It is easy to be swayed into bad music, if we are not careful. Between the catchy tunes, the sound, or the popularity of the song. Friend, may we all be careful with what we listen to. For songs can carry melodies that can hurt our faith or nurture it. When we go to listen to music, we should ask ourselves; what am I feeding my mind? For music is truly meant as a gift, not something meant to further corrupt our souls.
