Proclaiming our faith

Amidst adversaries would you proudly proclaim your faith

Or would you bow down to pressure to not bring them distaste

Would you live to not offend them

Or would you live to defend Him

What kind of life, are you trying to lead

One that gives into pressure, or the one in which you need

Having faith is not always of popular opinion

What means more, popularity or faith having dominion

We have to choose daily our love for God to proclaim

For how can He save us, if we don’t acknowledge His name

The pressures of this world are temporary, with no eternity in mind

Denying God, leaves our soul behind

Among those whom choose to not believe, or those in which offended

Is your faith condescended

Where is our faith, in this broken place

In our hearts, what takes space

All around us does it matter who we offend

If they go against Him

Faith in God is what matters most

To love the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

When adversaries try to stop us from His love

May we choose to follow, in the things above

Joshua 24 :15 NIV

But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”

Matthew 10:33 NIV

But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.
