I will trust you Lord, though I know not the reason
For as you say, everything has a season
That you walk by my side and you hold me tight
That with you, my Savior, all will be made right
You’re my hope in all things that come my way
In your word I find my peace and solace when I pray
I hang onto your promises, for they comfort my soul
As I find refuge in you, my faith begins to grow
Though I know not always why or what tomorrow brings
I know you have sorted out every single thing
My hope lies in you, in that I find my rest
For you calm the storm, in my mess
It may not always be easy, and though I may not understand
I will trust in your promises and also in your plan
Thank you, Lord, for holding me through life’s seasons
I know your plan is bigger and that you have your reasons
So when I am overwhelmed, I can go to you in prayer
For I know no matter my season, you will always meet me there
