I was gifted some beautiful flowers. Due to my cat trying to eat it, I had to put it where she could not get to it. In doing so, I forgot to water it. Upon looking over at it, I had noticed it had wilted and was clearly thirsty. I immediately ran, watered it, and talked life back into it. A couple hours later it was standing tall and strong again. Life had been put back into it, by being tended to. Friend, we are a lot like my flower in that way. When we feel neglected and not nurtured, we too, start to wilt. When we are however given love and attention, it speaks life back into us. God is our greatest gardener, His love, attention, and nurturing for our souls allows us to stand tall and strong in this world. How loved we are, and how much we bloom when we listen to God speak life into us. Perhaps we should also make a point to treat others with that same love and care. For we are like flowers, needing to be nurtured. How much more beautiful would this world be if we all helped each other this way?!
