Encourage One another

My youngest is a gymnast and after every practice his class gets a little sticker. Though this is a small gesture, it is also a wonderful something special to keep their stamina up and make every child feel validated with a job well done. Remember when we were young and we were given little prizes to lift our spirits up or to make us feel valued and appreciated? I remember going to the dentist and picking out a toy from the treasure chest. Though as adults we may be less excited about stickers or little toys or trinkets; the point behind it is still important. Whether it is to build stamina, encourage good behavior or just a simple, you matter; we still enjoy someone taking the time to make us feel extra special. Friend, the people that God places in our lives are so important. Why not remind them with a kind gesture. Whether it is their favorite candy bar, a kind card or just taking the time to reach out and tell them their important. Friend, in a world full of sin that thrives on devaluing people; it is so important for us to lift each other up. God has blessed us with one another, may we treat each other with kindness and with love.

1 Thessalonians 5:11

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
