I took a quicker, but yet, somewhat unfamiliar way to my dentist appointment this morning. I plugged in the address on my GPS and headed towards my destination. As I knew my turn was coming up soon, but I turned too early. Which made me possibly take a slightly longer way. Instead of waiting and listening to my GPS’ instruction; I found myself having to get redirected back to the path I was supposed to have been on. Even though I had my GPS, I was not trusting it to get me where I was supposed to go. Friend, have you ever put more trust in yourself, than listening to wise instruction?! I have noticed that as believers, we do that with God. He gives us His word, His wisdom and insight to guide us; yet, at times we choose not to listen. Whether from fear and uncertainty or self-reliance and doubt. Friend, as we head out into the world; may we trust God as our ultimate GPS. With the hope of Heaven, our eternal destination.
