He still loves us

I have come to realize that even when my kids are misbehaving, I still want to spend time with them. Even if I do need a minute. I still want to be there with them. Beside them to cheer them on, to meet their needs and encourage their dreams. I still love them, even when they are misbehaving. That despite those moments of misbehavior, I know that they are generally good kids, with good hearts and a true love for Jesus. Their human and not perfect, just like me. Friend, God is our Father and He loves us; despite our disobedience. He loves us unconditionally like we love our children, just more than we can even fathom. God still wants to be with us, just like we still want to be with our children. Just like our children know that we still love them, when they make mistakes; God still loves us when we do too. Friend, go to God in your moments of goodness and go to Him when you have messed up. His mercy is sufficient. He is longing for us always to spend time with Him; just as we still long for our children when they too make mistakes. Like the love for our children, when we reach to our Father in Heaven in all times, we find that our forgiveness is paved with love with a hope to do and to be better than the choices of our past mistakes.
