Truly walking with God

My walk with God is not dependent on a religion, but a relationship with Him. Religion has not been what has saved me in my times of need. God did. I have so much Faith in Him, because I am well aware of my need for Him. I want God in my life. Friend, at any time, any of us could ponder about a hard time in our lives. Whether or not we fully realized at the time, God was clearly there. He was there when you or a loved one were sick, sad, or hurting. He was there through heartaches and struggles. God was even there in those times that we do not know about. Friend, we should all want a real relationship with God. One that consist of recognizing His hope. One that listens to His word of instruction and follows through with it. Reading our Bible and doing devotionals. One that wants to learn everything about Him more. One that praises him during worship at church and outside of church. One in which we share with everyone about His love and His grace. One in which we have constant conversations in prayer about anything and everything. He is everything. Let us truly love Him as such. Friend, our family and our friends are so important; the best way to love them and ourselves, is to truly love God first. As we head out into this world, may we always thank God and keep Him in our hearts. For a heart that recognizes their need for God; finds peace for their souls.

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
