Almost a year and a half ago I was blessed with the opportunity of becoming a stay at home mom and wife. Allowing me more time for what matters most; my faith, my family, and more time to really pursue my writing. I had been a cosmetologist at my salon at the time, for many years. I knew it would be a big deal to quit, especially financially. After prayerful consideration and His peace that it was the right choice; I followed where God was leading me, leading us, as a family. Friend, sometimes God is going to call us to really trust in Him as he guides us through life, growing in our faith in Him. Sometimes that is God calling us to do something outside of our comfort zone to bring Him glory. Trying something new for Him and taking a leap of faith with pure trust in Him. This can be a little scary at times. That is why faith is so important. It is the hope that He brings, that brings our hearts contentment and peace, even in situations that may be new and scary. It is trusting in His plan, even if it is different or we are not entirely sure what it is or what it will exactly look like. Faith is letting God lead even when we cannot see completely what lies ahead. It is the assurance though, that He knows, and trusting in Him. Friend, may we always go where He leads; knowing that His plans for our lives, are bigger and more important than we could ever imagine on our own.
