I long for a place I have yet to be
As our Savior says; “come, follow me”
Where the burdens that I have carried for so long
Becomes weightless and free, as I’m where I belong
Where pain, sickness, grief has no place
A joy filled peace, given from grace
I am longing to hear the sound of his voice
As with the angels we sing songs of rejoice
I know not when to this place I will arrive
Though with God by my side, here, I will try to survive
This place I long for, gives peace to my mind
As I await, I look for the sign
Only one way, to reach that place above
Is to ask for forgiveness, from whom died with love
This place has a name, as I long to be
At home with our Savior who died for you and me
With God our Father, Heaven, my destination
As my weight is lifted, from His salvation
I long for God, to see Him face to face
My hope, my peace, my saving grace
Loved beyond measure, we are truly gifted
So when that time comes and burdens are lifted
Will your burden be lifted too
Were you a believer, whose heart made anew
For there is a God, with Him we can someday be
Answer His call, when he says; “come, follow me”
A relationship with Him, as I truly believe
He is what my heart, mind, soul does need
I long for Heaven, where with Him my soul finds rest
With His eternal peace, we have been truly blessed
My hope, in Him is truly found
Through His grace, I am Heaven bound

Come, follow Him
2 Timothy 4:8 NKJV
Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
