When God is truly in your heart,

Your old sinful ways begin to depart

There is a change in you that is made

For the old ways have passed, as purity gets paved

Fun looks different, as music sings a new melody

Of the hope that sings like a symphony

There is a light in you that is found

For God’s presence is around

Your heart becomes gentler; your mind more wise

As you choose God and don’t compromise

Morals take the place of temporary glee

More about others, less about me

For the old order, is replaced with new

As we think more of what we say and what we do

For life is temporary, and we want to live it right

With eternity in mind, our hope takes flight

For when we let God in

And we truly live for him

Where sin would lead us never with fullness

With God we are left with wholeness

There is no place better I would rather reside

But in the comfort of God, whom lives inside
