Richness of love

Money is important because it is a necessity to survive. However, it is so important that we do not make life about making money. I know people that have worked their life away, chasing the next dollar. While doing so, they chased their years away. They were too busy for God and the people that God placed in their lives. They wound up not making time for God. Their time filled with missed opportunities to create as many memories as they can with their loved ones. Working so much their marriages suffer. Parents that worked so much, when they actually slowed down their children were grown. Grown kids or grandkids that worked so much, that their parents or grandparents had passed while they were chasing that dollar. Friends that never had time due to overworking, then the friendship fades away. Many scenarios such as these. It is important to make money to pay our monthly dues. Yet, I cannot stress enough how important it is to work enough to live, but do not live to work. For a dollar spends quickly yet, time is somehow even quicker. Time is a blessing. Love is a blessing. For though we should work hard, we must not make being wealthy our goal. Friend, it is okay if our job pays a lot, it is not okay if we sacrifice our loved ones and our time with them to become rich. For the richest people are not those with mansions, fancy cars, or things; real richness is using time wisely and being rich with having love. Rich in your faith and rich with loved ones. While we balance our checkbooks friends, may we also balance our time. For money cannot truly fulfill. For real fulfillment is a life lead with love as God intended.

Proverbs 23:4-5 NKJV

Do not overwork to be rich; Because of your own understanding, cease! Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; They fly away like an eagle toward heaven.
