Redemption

To Golgotha He went as He carried our cross

Our burdens our sin, while we were so lost

He carried our shame, though ours to bear

He took it all, as He hung there

He died, so that we may live

True definition, of what it means to forgive

There he hang, nails pierced in hands

A sacrifice, for He knew God’s plan

Ridiculed and put to shame

So we could someday, live again

A pain that can’t be fully comprehended

All to make our hearts mended

With our Father in Heaven, from His grace

Through Jesus who died and took our place

Golgotha where He paid the cost

Who saved us all, when we were lost

Who rose again, with our sin paid in full

He who rose again, making us whole

So may on Easter, it be mentioned

It is about, our redemption

John 11:25-26 NKJV

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
