“One day at a time.” The older I get, the more wisdom I find in this quote. We can have a plan, but we must find our peace in God’s plan and not our own. For life is truly a journey with many matters that we pass through. There are times when I feel myself, getting ahead of myself. Getting so caught up in the what if’s, the maybes, and any other unknown scenario I can think of. Then I am reminded that although I can think about my future, I just cannot let the worry of its unknown consume me. God gives us 365 days a year. To make things easier on us. He divided them up into 24 hours in each of those days. He knew that life is big and we, as humans, are not equipped to handle everything all at once. Friend, it is easy to get wrapped up and consumed by the future. Let us, learn to trust God, with the here and now and with our future too. We must do our best with the day that we are in and have the peace of Whom holds our tomorrows. For a heart that trusts God all the time, finds their peace in all the time that their given.
