He did not always promise easy,

For life may not always be

He just offered up His grace,

Said come and follow me

In the dark, He will be

Our guiding light

When we cannot see our way

He will restore true sight

From the storm, He will be

Our shelter from the rain

He will guide us through the valley

Of hurt, sadness or shame

Whenever we feel all alone

That no one understands

Trust that God knows it all

Trust in his Great plan

He will hold us close

If we truly let Him in

He loves us always

Despite our brokenness and sin

In this life may we be reminded

In times where we feel lost

To walk along with our savior

He will help to bear our cross

When this life is over

And we hear that trumpet sound

We will know we made it with Him

For we were Heaven bound

So as we walk along this place

Until our soul rest with Him above

Trust God to help us navigate

For He guides us, with His love
